Claude Assistant is an animated visual companion that lives on the claude.ai website. It reacts to your activity on the page and displays your current usage limits.
The extension makes local requests to claude.ai API endpoints solely to retrieve your usage quota for display purposes. These requests use your existing browser session and are made directly from your browser to claude.ai — no intermediary servers are involved.
The usage data is displayed on screen and immediately discarded. It is never stored, logged, or sent anywhere.
